Summer Youth News and Events planned
One focus of service for the next few months is decorating for Vacation Bible School. We’ve had our initial meeting and have some AWESOME ideas to turn the Sanctuary and surrounding hallways into a bayou. (pssst…a bayou is like a swamp) Questions, talk with Christy or George.
July 26th: While your parents are at the Quarterly Meeting, we’ll have our own rockin’ gathering. Both meetings will run the same length of time.
August 9th: Directly after Worship before the Church Picnic at Mapstone’s. We’ll work on some of our VBS Decoration “stuff” then make a sweet treat to take over to the picnic. Your parents can meet us at the Mapstone’s, we’ll travel over as a group.
August 15th: It’s a Saturday! We’re putting together the Bayou! Time TBD, but plan on hanging out with FBC friends that day!
End of August: We’ll have a “End of Summer” Fun-time as a whole group. Have ideas? Talk with an advisor.
